Breanna Marini
President, Virginia D.A.R.E. Association

Breanna Marini serves as President of the Virginia D.A.R.E. Association and is a Senior Deputy with the King George Sheriff's Office, where she has proudly served since 2015. As a School Resource Officer, she is dedicated to fostering safe schools, building meaningful relationships with students, and strengthening partnerships between law enforcement, educators, families, and the communities they serve.

A passionate advocate for prevention education, Breanna has served as a D.A.R.E. Officer for nearly a decade and is committed to equipping young people with the skills and confidence to make safe, healthy, and responsible choices. She also serves as a D.A.R.E. Officer Mentor for Virginia's D.A.R.E. Officer Training, helping develop and inspire the next generation of D.A.R.E. instructors. In addition, she is a certified General Instructor, CRASE Instructor, and R.A.D. Instructor.

Breanna holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration and a Master of Business Administration. With the support of the King George Sheriff's Office, she has had the opportunity to help develop and lead youth outreach initiatives, including the Youth Criminal Justice Academy, providing students with meaningful experiences that promote leadership, teamwork, integrity, and a greater understanding of careers in public safety.

This marks Breanna's second term as President of the Virginia D.A.R.E. Association. She previously led the Association through the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, helping maintain connections among members during a time of uncertainty. As she begins this new term, her vision is to build upon that foundation by increasing member engagement, expanding professional development opportunities, strengthening communication, and ensuring the Association continues to serve as a valuable resource for every D.A.R.E. Officer across the Commonwealth.

Breanna believes that leadership is built through service, collaboration, and the willingness to invest in others. She is grateful for the mentors, colleagues, and agency leadership who have encouraged and supported her throughout her career, and she remains committed to giving back by supporting fellow D.A.R.E. Officers and inspiring Virginia's youth to become confident, responsible, and resilient leaders.
